Role Overview

As a Video Editing Intern, you will work closely with our media and content team to create engaging video content for our news platforms and social media handles. This role is ideal for students who want hands-on experience in entertainment media, digital storytelling, and short-form/video-first content.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short videos, reels, and clips related to entertainment news and trending topics.
• Create engaging video content for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and other platforms.
• Add basic effects, transitions, text overlays, captions, and background music where required.
• Convert raw footage into polished, publish-ready videos.
• Follow content guidelines, branding, and deadlines strictly.
• Work regularly and maintain consistency in output and quality.
• Coordinate with the content and graphics team for aligned storytelling.

Required Skills & Tools

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of video editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Filmora, or similar tools.
• Understanding of short-form video trends (reels, shorts, viral formats).
• Basic sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual flow.
• Ability to meet daily or assigned deadlines.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: Passed 12th standard.
• Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (mandatory).
• Must own a personal laptop (compulsory).
• Suitable for media, mass communication, film, journalism, or creative students (preferred but not mandatory).
